Seton Center is a non-profit organization in Emmitsburg that serves the communities of Northern Frederick County and beyond by providing community support, financial assistance, and social services to those in need. The Seton Center Thrift Store helps fund their mission.

The Emmitsburg Council of Churches is a local ecumenical organization that seeks to unite the various congregations in the town of Emmitsburg in order to worship together, serve others, and collaborate on community outreach.
